Uri Attacks : How can PM Modi respond to Pakistan?

India woke up with a very unfortunate and sad news of 18 soldiers martyred at Uri in a very coward attack by terrorists.  Indian government has been under heavy pressure as this is the second major attack after Pathankot.

There have been huge protests across the nation against such attacks which has been demanding a strong action from the government.

Here are some of the options on how Indian government and PM Modi can respond to the Uri Attacks.

1. Surgical Strikes :

A quick surgical strikes on the terrorist groups inside POK can be an option. This move can also backfire if situation gets out of hand.

It has to be done quickly as the window of the attacks shrinks with time passes. The locations has to be very precise as even a single civilian causality can create backfires.

2. Attack on Pak Posts without clearing LOC

India can attack on the enemy bunkers with the use of air strikes without crossing the LOC. It can also trigger some reaction from opposite side which can create causality on Indian Air-force.

3. Strategic Missile  & Rocket Attacks

The bunkers at a higher distance can be taken care by Missiles like Bramhos which can target up-to 290 KM of radius. The rockets also can be used for short distance targets like 90 Kms. This has to be very strategic as Pak Air-force has been on their toes against Indian Army.

4. Operation Parakram II

The Indian government can increase the protection at the entire BSF region connecting to Pak borders to ensure further safety and stop infiltration. This was done back during Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government in 2001 but according to experts, this won't be very effective move.

5. Isolating Pakistan on world forum

This is what Indian PM Modi has been trying to do during all his foreign conferences. Produce the proofs and try isolating Pakistan at every high level meeting possible. This has been happening from past which has not helped India to avoid such terrorist attacks.

6. Continue Peace Talks

India can continue the peace talks with Pakistan at the dipolmatic level. This move won't be seen as a very good move by Indian civilians nor pakistan civilians after continued terror strikes on Indian soldiers. This will politically be a very wrong move for PM Modi.

It is notable that Russia has called off their Military joint practice with Pakistan soon after the Uri Attacks, which comes as a positive signal for India. France has also openly supported India on every anti-terror steps being taken.

PM Narendra Modi's real ground test will be this action which he takes against Pakistan which will will decide his real 'strong leader' image.

Performance

The device comes with a Mediatek Octa core processor MT6753. It also is equipped with Mali-T720 graphics processor which gives an excellent gaming experience.

The 3GB RAM makes multi tasking easier for this device. With the usage of week, we didn't find any major lag or hanging issues.

The phone doesn't heat up on normal usage unlike some of the devices in the market. On very aggressive usage like gaming for continuous hours, the device tends to heat up a little, still convenient to use.

Battery

This phone sports a 3000 mAH battery which is another impressive factor for this device. The backup has been comparively good than some of the devices in the market.

M.S.Dhoni : The Man Towards His Dawn!

When a long haired, muscular body holder cricketer entered the team in 2004, no one would have imagined that he would come a long way to become one of the legendary captains and cricketers of all time.

With his initial power-packed knocks like 183*, he got established as the hard hitters of the games.

When Indian team was badly knocked out of the world cup in 2007, all the players had to face a big-time anger. Ranchi saw nightmares when M.S.Dhoni's under-construction house was damaged,

Soon after that, A complete young team was sent to South Africa for T20 world-cup under the captaincy of M.S.Dhoni. Unexpectedly, the team bought home the World-Cup & that's when Dhoni became the poster boy of India.

He had no look-back then. He bagged all : #1 ranking in Tests and ODIs, the CB series, The ICC World Cup in 2011 and Champions Trophy 2013.

Dhoni has seen a lot of ups and downs in his career. He has earned himself immense fame and he's also seen equal amount of criticism from his own soil. He has been criticized several times for his performance overseas in the longer format, his gambles and his team selection.

Dhoni gave a shocking moment to the nation when he announced his retirement from the longer formats suddenly without any press conference nor any fuss. The man went away as silent as he entered cricket.

This man has never been publicity hungry. It's always been difficult to read his inner mind. He never showcased the storm inside. He suppressed it with the a smile & calm outside.

Now when the team India was playing against Sri lanka, Dhoni was having a much needed break with his family. He also had training with Indian Army. He experienced the sky-diving as well. Looks like he has started living for himself after the years long cricketing journey.

Looking at his ICC World Cup 2015 & IPL 2015 performance and the Chennai Super Kings match fixing controversies revolving around him, it looks like the Man is towards his dawn!

Dhoni is unlikely to play the next world cup in 2019, but what he would definitely eye is the T20 world cup this year. This man has given a lot to the cricket. He has groomed the young players to become mature enough to take the Indian cricket forward.

Dhoni in his own word says “I play for the enjoyment of the game and the day I decide to go, I will pack my bags and happily go away.”

Undoubtedly the current journey is towards the dawn of his career, but his dedication for the game and achievements for the nation will always be remarked in the golden book of history forever.

Now, let him celebrate himself as a Wicket-Keeper, Batsman, Captain & yes a Cricketer. Who knows when will the team get another small town boy to be equally big to take his footsteps.

The Great Grover wine festival - Bharitya City

Note : This event was covered by our author Arun Kurien

The first thing that I was impressed at the Great Grover Wine Festival which was held at Bhartiya City, Bangalore was the amazing venue that was decorated with lights. It looked stunning in the night with lights of different colours. I must say getting to the venue took me little long because I wasn't familiar with that part of the town.

As I walked to the venue through the well maintained garden and the clean roads I came across a lot    barrels at the entrance and ofcourse I coudn't resist taking a picture of that. Then as I entered I found a flea market selling awesome quirky stuff and it happened that all were my favourite products. So I quickly grabbed a Brownie and went ahead to see what was in store for the rest of the evening.
Another thing that grabbed my attention was how the barrels were placed in different corners and had a glass filled with wine on top of it. This was basically meant for people to taste it.

I came across this huge place where I found a lot of people surrounding it and taking a lot of pictures, so I went ahead and found that they were grape stomping. It was so cool, I wanted to try it out but my new trousers refrained me in doing so. Anyways, it was awesome to see so many of them having a good time,I am sure it was as exciting as what one could think of.

Then moving ahead I got to taste the finest wine available in this part of our country, There wes Karishma Grover from the Grover Vineyard who was explaining about the different types of wine and the differencesbetween the red wine, white wine,Champagne and so on. Oh not to forget how they explained the wine pairing which I felt was so awesome. I am definitely going to try the wine pairing soon.

As the evening passed by, it was time for some music, fun and entertainment. The crowd kept increasing as every minute passed by. Most of them were on the dance floor and having a great time. The bands that played were electifying and had the entire crowd groove to their tunes. Swaratma at the end were the perfect finale performance onc could have probably asked for. The corwd went crazy seeing them perfornacne that the lead singer jumped into the crowd and started to groove with them as well. When Swaratma were done with their performance the crowd started to chant,'Once More'. Continuously that they had to sing few lines before they signed off.

It was an awesome experience and felt amazing to have made it to South India's largest wine festival. It is one of those events where at the end of it, you will have a good feeling while walking out.

Has OOO succeeded to establish itself in the major gTLDs?

With the high growth in internet users and the websites across the globe, there has been a significant increase in the purchase of domains. There are almost 153 millon TLDs registered across the globe. It has been very difficult to book the desired keyword domains with the major gTLDs like .com, .net. Hence the market has widely opened up for some new alternatives.

OOO or triple O has been one of such alternative, new gTLD which has entered into the internet industry with boom. Indian ecommerce company Infibeam.com launched it recently, which is called as 'triple O'. There was already a high buzz about it and its features before its launch. It was highly anticipated to do a boom into the domain market, and all those anticipations went true.

The sunrise period is a time during which owners of trademarks may register their domain name containing the owned mark. Sunrise period for OOO has started on 22nd September and will run for month after which from 24th October general public will be able to book their domains. OOO received 277 registrations during sunrise period, as per the official stats by namestat.

The major trademarks have already started booking their triple O domains and once the sunrise period would end, it would open up the market for general public where anyone could book their personal, professional triple O domain names.

The big reason for people to buy the OOO domains could be its fancy name which would include with their desired keyword in the domain. It can be easily remembered which can help a lot in branding of the business or the venture people are buying it for. Anyone could easily book their exact domains where they can build their personal websites, portfolis etc.

OOO domains are said to be mobile friendly as it would reduce the text button press to single key 'O'. Being a gTLD, it opens up ranking of the websites into other countries as well, which can be a other reason for people out of india to own it.

Domain reselling has been one of the biggest thing happening online, where people reserve the premium domains and then resell it at premium prices. Domains like Fb.com was sold for $8.5 Million. This can be a reason for internet savy people to grab some of the premium domains.

The blogger community also has been waiting for the launch of triple O domains for general public, so that they could use the advantages of its features. SEO Ranking of the websites becomes very easy when you have an exact keyword domain, which could easily be bought by triple O domains. This could interest the bloggers to purchase some bunch of triple O domains and set up their websites and start generating revenue over it.

Infibeam.com said “The .OOO top-level domain (TLD) is dedicated for any entity launching or expanding an e-commerce venture. .OOO open opportunities for selling things online and offline. This Domain Extension .OOO will set you apart from your competitors.”

The real success of triple O domains will be analyzed in the long run, but with its sunrise registations and all the buzz going around, it is definitely something to be looked on for.

Incoming keywords : ooo domains, .ooo domain, triple o domain,  infibeam ooo domain, vishal mehta

Dengue : Why is it called as one of the dangerous diseases

Imagine a situation : You are all fine, and all of sudden you start sharp leg pain, high one and in some time your body temperature is tickling around 105-106 Fahrenheit . All this happens in mere few hours, and from your work you're completely on bed.

Yes, These are the symptoms of Dengue.

Dengue, one of the fatal disease, which doesn't have any official treatment. The only thing docs do is give you antibiotics and try to reduce the infection of the virus.

The worst part of Dengue is your blood platelets reduce from 3 to 4 Lakhs to 30-40 thousand in mere 1 or 2 days, and in any case bleeding starts from your body, there are no enough platelets to stop the bleeding, the life goes endangered. That's how Dengue becomes the reason for the death of people.

The only treatment to Dengue which is widely accepted even my senior doctors and researches is "Papaya Leaves crush Juice". It has the capability to make your platelets normal.

Another bad thing about this disease is you lose interest in almost everything. You don't feel to talk, to eat, to see, to think - Nothing ! You don't even get sleep. Imagine the mental situation during that time. The fever takes just 3-4 days to go, but the after effect of the dengue is something which you would never experience, and never want to experience.

You start feeling like a 60-70 year old person, unable to walk correctly, sit correctly. You can't even sit for half an hour comfortably. You lose your appetite.

That's the reason, you're prescribed with a long bed rest of not less then 3-4 weeks generally.

With God's grace, and family support, It did not take very long for me to recover.

All I can say is : Take a good care of yourself and don't even feel lazy to get blood tested or get consulted to doctor on normal fevers. You never know, it could be one of such.

How did i pass my time

I am someone who is not fond of staying idle for long.

I am a big lover of documentaries, especially Historical and Political documentaries. I saw few Indian documentaries below.

Few of the best documentaries I've watched. I would recommend you guys to watch it as well.

1. India Pakistan Partition :

2. Operation Blue Star & Indira Gandhi assassination

The BBC documentary : English

 ABP News Documentry : Hindi

3. Rajiv Gandhi assassination

4. Indian Nuclear Bomb Test at Pokhran

That's it for the day guys ! I've a train to catch. Couldn't stop myself to blog these things before that. Till then take care and stay safe. Share the post if you liked ! :)

Xiaomi MI3 : Full Review : Is it a brilliant device or just marketing ?

Xiomi Mi3 has been making news all around for its 'Virtual Demand' created on Flipkart where its exclusively available, getting sold out in seconds. The last sale where we were able to book it, more than 20,000 phones got sold out in less than 2.3 seconds, says Xiomi.

Is the phone really worth the demand and hype which it is been creating, or is it pure marketing strategy ?

Xiomi Mi3 Main Specifications :

  1. Display : 5.0 inches IPS FullHD touchscreen (1920×1080 pixels, 441ppi) with Gorilla Glass
  2. Hardware : Qualcomm Snapdragon, Quad core, 2360 MHz
  3. Software : Android v4.4 Kitkat
  4. Storage : 2 GB RAM, 16 GB Storage ( No SD Slot)
  5. Camera : 13 MP Camera, 2 MP Front camera, Dual LED Flash, 1080p video recording
  6. Battery : 3050 mAh ( Non removable)

When I personally bought this phone, there was a lot of demand of full review of this phone, and so here we go.

1.Performance

Mi3 has Snapdragon 800 which already exists in smartphones like Google Nexus 5, LG G Pro, Gionee E7 etc. Mi3 comes with a 2GB Ram which easily handles the multi tasking on the phone without any lag in the performance.

Its been few days we've started using it, and initial performance looks very clean, but the final call would be on long tern run.

2. Design

The Mi3 body comes with plastic body with a metallic finishing. There's a 13MP camera on rear side with dual flash next to it. On the top, there is the SIM slot and a 3.5mm audio jack. At the bottom are the audio speakers and the USB charging slot. In the right side, it has Volume buttons and the power button.

3. Display and Graphics

The 5.0 inch full HD screen is the very first thing which impresses you in Mi3. The display screen is the Gorilla glass which gives you a smoother touch like any other devices. The display gives a very elegant and premium look.

The 5.0 inch HD screen and 2GB Ram and Snapdragon 800 allows you to enjoy the gaming graphics smoothly. We played few HD videos and the result was satisfactory.

4. Camera

Camera is something which people look out for before purchasing any smartphone. The Mi3 comes with a 13 Mega Pixels rear camera. The images ain't that vibrant as HTC or LG, but the camera results nevertheless are not that bad for a Rs. 13999 price tag. They're sharp and clean.

The front camera comes is a 2 mega pixel camera with face detection features and other features such as gender detection and age detection.

The video recording is something which impresses you. Its a pure 1080 HD video recording which definitely is upto the mark.

Check the sample photos below and come to a conclusion.

Left side is the Original Picture (Resized). Right side are the Details when original picture is zoomed.

Picture in Natural light <Image Credits>

Macro Photo from Mi3 <Image Credits>
Picture with HDR On <Image Credits>

Video Recording Sample :

5. Battery :

The Xiaomi Mi3 comes with a 3050 mAh, another  thing which impresses us. The battery has been comparatively good than the smartphones in market out there. Battery backup nails in this device.

The other phones in the market Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with 2800 mAh and HTC One M8 with 2600 mAh batteries.

We charged the battery to 100 % on the very first day of the usage, and it ended slightly more than one and half day easily with balanced mode on. A light user could easily get a 2 day battery backup. The battery took around 1.5 to 2 hours to get fully charged.

Other reviewers say : The device managed to pull a 11 hours continuous playback of a 720px video on Mi3.

6. Sound Quality :

Xiaomi Mi3 comes with a mono speaker at the bottom part of the phone, slightly above the average quality when it comes to sound.

One good thing about the sound quality is, This phone doesn't hold that "Distorted Loud Sound" tag which generally we see in other china phones. The maximum volume is distorted and quality, which is something good about Mi3.

Pros and Cons

Excellent device with impressive display, design and battery backup. It certainly beats all the devices in the price range of around Rs. 13999. One of the impressive interface MIUI we've seen. It also supports indian languages, unlike few lower end HTC devices.

Inbuilt 16GB comes with No SD card slot. User available memory is 12GB with other memory being used by sofware. Not a big problem as the phone comes with its own cloud storage. The battery is a Non removable battery one, and it could be sorted out with external power banks available.

Scores in detail :

Performance : 8/10       Design : 7.5/10       Display : 8.5/10
Battery : 9/10                Camera : 7/10         Sound : 7.5/10

Final Call :

The final scores we give for the device is : 8 / 10

Xiaomi Mi3 comes with a price tag of Rs. 13999 and it is definitely the device to look out for, for this price tag. This phone does not give you a cheap look for sure, which the previous chineese phones were known for.

Hope this review helped you to decide your call for Xiaomi Mi3. If you liked the review, Please share this on Facebook and twitter.

Currently, Xiaomi Mi3 is only available at Flipkart at Rs. 13999. You have to register first and once the sale is open, you get notified and you can buy the Xiaomi Mi3.
